Today is an exciting day as today is the next in the interview series and the first video interview of the series .
So, without further ado I’d like to welcome Chris Ducker of Virtualbusinesslifestyle.com, a top blog with a sub 100,000 Alexa ranking. Chris is originally from the UK and now lives out in the Philippines where he runs his own company, Live2Sell, offering great quality inbound and outbound call centre services, as well as other Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, based in Cebu City.
In the interview Chris and I talk about business growth, outsourcing, customer service, top tips for growing your business and becoming a virtual CEO.
We did talk about a lot of stuff so I have split the video into 3 parts. It’s also due to the fact that I haven’t quite mastered the video editing bit yet and I didn’t wanted to eliminate anything from the interview.
Phew! I hope you enjoyed that. Let me know your thoughts and feedback on the content and my first foray into video interviews. I’ll try and not look so peeky next time ๐
Do connect with Chris On His Blog and On Twitter and tell him that you say his video over here.
Thanks to Silvio Tanaka for the image.

Hi Adrian — Very nice. I enjoyed the first clip. Still need to go through the rest but nice start.
Cheers
Michael
Hi Michael,
Thanks for taking a look and the feedback. It all feels a little Am-Dram (amateur dramatics) right now but it’s great fun and have quite a few more lined up. Watch this space and do let me know what you think of the final 2 parts.
Thanks again,
Adrian
Hi Adrian, you could get this into one video if you use vimeo as it allows more bandwith than youtube.
Looks like your site’s just turned into profitability thanks to the endorsements for the iPad and Dodo cases.
Great interview, Chris is a good guy and he’s always great fun.
Best wishes, Matthew
Hi Matthew,
Thanks for your comment. That’s a great tip about Vimeo. I’ll take a look into that and see if future videos can be hosted in one piece…..still learning and thanks for the tip.
Chris is a great guy and fun to talk with. I should contact Apple and Dodo case and see if I can sort out sponsorship ๐
Thanks again for your support and tips,
Adrian
Adrian,
Oh nooooo now I want the iPad! he he
Really enjoyed the interview and great plug for social media managerโs woohoo
Something I am going to have to learn is how to pass over work to allow my business to grow and finding the people I can trust to do the job. Itโs also refreshing to hear of steady growth within a company.
Wendy ๐
Hi Wendy,
The iPad is v cool but, personally, I am resisting right now as I like my macbook pro and iphone combo.
Think the next step for you might be trying to fit your work into a process or ‘wendy’s way’ such that it becomes easier to show to someone, they can then follow and then you can hand it over bit by bit.
Adrian
Adrian,
Good idea Wendy’s Way like the sound of that…
Have a great weekend
Wendy
Thanks Wendy,
Hope you had a great weekend too ๐
Adrian
Hi Adrian
Thanks again for asking me on as your first video guest. Very proud of that!
All the best and keep rockin’, my man.

Hi Chris,
You are welcome and it was my pleasure. Still lots of learning to do to get it ‘right’ but a great start. Thanks for making it fun and easy ๐
Adrian
Wow! Just listening to all three clips. Must confess I did that as background since watching did not seem to add much.
Overall I enjoyed it. I guess on the basis that less is more, you could probably prune quite vigorously down to a seven minute session that still has the meat.
Hi Martin,
Thanks for your feedback. I guess that I am just learning about the whole multimedia thing and the next step is deciding which format is best (If I need to) and then getting my head around editing…..ho hum si much to learn and do.
Thanks again for the feedback,
Adrian
Wanted to say that I like the idea of doing the chat with side-by-side screens. I’ve often seen podcast interviews as well as written interviews, but besides news channels, I don’t know if I’ve sen too much of the side-by-side screen for an interview.
One small piece of advice would be to try to frame up your head and bodies so that they are the same size and position on the screen.
Okay, another little piece, if you can get a bit more light on yourself Adrian, that would help.
In any case, wanted to say that I like the idea of the side-by-side interview and may have to try that style myself with my video interviews.
Cheers,
Greg
Hi Greg,
Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated and I am glad that you liked the interview and style. As my first foray into this format the feedback has been very helpful and great.
Hope to see you again for the next episode at the end of the week,
Adrian
Good video! I liked all the things you talked about here. For a beginner at editing, you managed quite well. I’m sure this is a start for more video interviews to come, or even documentaries. Good luck! ๐
Thanks for that. Keep your eyes peeled as there will be more to come ๐
Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment.
Best regards,
Adrian
