May 12, 2010Key Tips from Outsourcing Expert – Chris Ducker- That Will Allow You to Focus on Generating Growth
I am very excited as today’s guest post is a video post by Chris Ducker of Virtualbusinesslifestyle.com and is the first guest video post on my blog :). Chris is originally from the UK and now lives out in the Philippines where he runs his own company, Live2Sell, offering qualitycall center services, as well as other Business Process Outsourcing(BPO) services, based in Cebu City.
Chris doesn’t just talk a good game. He is living proof that outsourcing works, even if it is just payroll outsourcing, and is helping a large number of companies benefit from outsourcing too. This is a great video from Chris on his tips when considering implementing outsourcing in your business. Let me know what you think in the comments.
Great video, wasn’t it? The top 3 tips that Chris mentioned were:
- Before outsourcing, get references;
- If you are considering using outsourcing in your business then just try it to see how it works; and
- Don’t take it too seriously as it will take time to find the right way for it to work for your business.
Thanks again, Chris, for a great post and for the live! nature of the post 🙂
What did you think?

I’ve been hearing a lot about outsourcing and it seems like a very interesting way to grow business and expand and create new opportunities.
I guess just going out there and doing it is the best way to go then, eh?

Hi Eric,
Thanks for stopping by and for your comment.
Like Chris said in his post, it’s best to figure out what you want to outsource and then get out there and give it a go. If you find the right outsourcing partner (ask Chris….blatant plug!) I am sure you will be able to work out any snags.
Good luck if you are thinking about and do come back and let us know how you get on.

Couldn’t agree more. Especially Before outsourcing, get references; is most important. Otherwise, you may end up contracting with unskilled timewasters. While outsourcing any task, I prefer virtual assistants from outsourcing companies to freelancers. There is couple of reasons – freelancers often lack commitment and more often skill- thus lead to time-waste and project failure. On the contrary, outsourcing companies almost always maintain high quality, commitment, and communication for their reputation and legal obligation. For example, last year I was searching for a low-cost data entry service provider for my small project. One of my friends recommended me Staff India as he did business with them earlier and was satisfied. So, I got my project done by them too and I am really pleased with their service. They just assigned one of their data entry worker who communicated with me regularly and completed the project in time. Especially their supervisor was very communicative and sincere. I like their whole process of business. I prefer virtual assistants from outsourcing companies instead of freelance Virtual assistants.
