OK – so your product is wonderful and your customers are hungry for it, but your sales are declining. Marketing, sales and promotional ideas are pouring out of you, but still they’re not buying. It may be time to review how you close a sale.
Words of wisdom come from unusual places and this time they come from my Mum and, probably, your mother and her mother before that. Remember, the saying: “If you don’t ask then you won’t get”?
Yes? Thought so. Seems to be an old favourite.
Before resorting to ‘more training’, first take a look at yourself and your sales people and ask yourself if you’re asking for enough business. It’s almost guaranteed that you or your team could be asking more. And if you were, you’d be closing more sales and driving the business forward.
