I was thinking about a quote I found the other day from Winston Churchill which I sent to a friend on Twitter and it subsequently got retweeted. Here it is:
We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give – Winston Churchill
Now, this quote got me to thinking particularly that Christmas is fast approaching and it is the season of goodwill and giving. So, I asked myself, why can’t it be Christmas all year round?
What I mean by this is this: Why can’t we adopt a ‘giving’ attitude to our businesses, customers, investors and team members, where we aim to ‘add value’ and ‘give’ to all who are involved with and interact with our businesses all of the time? The short answer is, I believe, that we can.
So, here’s my question to everyone: What will you do to ‘add value’/’give’ to your customers, investors and team members for 2010 and beyond?
